Creating Compassionate Cultures: For Parents introduces the philosophical foundation for the whole curriculum with an emphasis on the home and family dynamic. Discussions and content will cover influences of culture, personal values, parenting, child development, learning methodologies (Montessori, etc.), multiple intelligences (including emotional intelligence), social and emotional learning, and neuroscience research supporting the curriculum. This training also
concludes with a brief overview and introduction to the rest of the curriculum (presented more fully in other workshops), and how they reflect the philosophy. |
